FreshBags are designed to replace single use plastic bags when buying all of your fresh produce. They are accepted at all supermarkets, shops, markets and farm stalls.

Lightweight - Designed not to add any weight when you are weighing your fruit & veggies.

Durable - Ours have been in use for over 2 years - that's a lot of single use plastic saved!Washable - Simply pop in the washing machine with your laundry and they are as good as new.

Size - the bags are approx 24x26cm - this is big enough for a head of broccoli, a bunch of bananas or 8-10 apples/onions/potatoes etc.

Socially conscious - All FreshBags are made locally in South Africa as a community project and we are committed to paying a living wage.

Environmentally Friendly - this is our first step towards changing attitudes to single use plastic and so we have chosen an affordable, durable, strong, lightweight material that can be used time and time again. It is unfortunately synthetic, but one step at a time...keep your eyes out for our unbleached cotton alternatives coming soon.
